HYDRATE TOUR: Saks High School & Weaver High School
On Thursday, November 8th we found ourselves in Calhoun County eager to share the message of the Lord. Our agenda: two school assemblies and one main Gospel campaign that same evening. Both schools received us with arms wide open. As the night event approached, we knew that many were about the encounter the power of the Gospel! Over 315 students crowded the altar calling on the name of Jesus. They prayed a prayer of surrender. Surrender is still a requirement. Remember Romans 10:9 says, “confess that Jesus is LORD…” Simply put, we surrender and He saves. We stressed, to all in attendance that night, that Jesus desires nothing less than our all; He gave everything, therefore we must be willing to do the same. To our surprise, still 315 students publicly moved from their seats to the place of surrender.
This is a strong man’s Gospel and we must preach it accurately. A diluted gospel has hindered the harvest and produced false converters. True salvation will cost you your life. It’s the beautiful exchange; His life for ours! There is no greater deal and no greater love.
We are forever grateful for the support and backing of these incredible churches… the Praise & Worship Center COGOP, Hillcrest Baptist Church, Life Worship Center, Saks First United Methodist Church, and the First Baptist Church of Saks. Their commitment and love for their community and these students are untouchable. We were so honored to partner with these amazing people. Thank you all.
