THE CHURCH OF GOD OF PROPHECY of Alabama is a group of vibrant congregations united in purpose and mission to share the Gospel of Christ in the communities where we live. Every day, across Alabama, we pray for our communities, for government officials, and for special needs around us; we share the Gospel of Christ with sinners; our Pastors visit those who need encouragement; and our congregations are reaching out to the homeless, the helpless, and the disenfranchised.

As disciples of Christ, we are bringing hope to the hopeless, preaching liberty to the captives, comforting the broken-hearted, offering healing to the blind and bruised, and preaching salvation to all people.

I am delighted that you are visiting our website. Alabama has an estimated 4.5 million in total population living in sixty-seven counties.
When you think of Alabama, perhaps you think of Huntsville’s Space Camp; Mobile’s Bellingrath Gardens, Montgomery’s southern mansions, Birmingham’s steel mills, or our famous football rivalry. Yet, there is more to know about the people of Alabama. As the buckle of the Bible belt, we believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word. We attend church each week. We are conservative in our political and religious beliefs. We are a compassionate people.
It is the compassion of Jesus Christ that drives the Church of God of Prophecy in Alabama. His compassion drove him to die for the salvation of sinners. Our goal is to exemplify his compassion in the congregations and ministries of the Church of God of Prophecy in Alabama.
We hope that you will be blessed by this website resource.

From its beginning, the Church of God of Prophecy has based its beliefs on the “whole Bible rightly divided.” We accept the Bible as God’s Holy Word, inspired, inerrant, and infallible. We believe the Bible to be God’s written revelation of Himself to mankind and our guide in all matters of faith; therefore, we look to the Bible as our highest authority for doctrine, practice, organization, and discipline.
